To better cater to our growing student numbers and developmental plans,
the Faculty is moving back to the historic and charming Bukit Timah
Campus – our original home when we were part of the NUS’s predecessor
institutions, the University of Malaya and the University of Singapore.

The Bukit Timah Campus is surrounded by the Botanic Gardens and the
Ministry of Education’s School of Physical Education. With the Lee Kuan
Yew School of Public Policy, the Asia Research Institute and other
institutes on Asian studies moving to Bukit Timah as well, the tranquil
campus will provide a conducive scholarly and educational environment
for our law school community. |

The move will allow the Faculty to reconfigure our facilities to better
accommodate the increased student numbers and to provide improved
opportunities for faculty and student interaction. The proximity to the
city is an advantage which will, among other things, make the Faculty
and our C J Koh Law Library more accessible to our alumni and the legal
fraternity. Our alumni/ae who studied at Bukit Timah, in particular,
will welcome the chance to revisit the campus they once called home.
