Kathryn Aguirre Worth Memorial Scholarship
The Scholarship was established to honour the memory of Kathryn Aguirre Worth, an American attorney with White & Case, who was on board the ill-fated Silk Air flight MI 185 on 19 December 1997. The scholarship fund was made possible by contributions from White & Case, Standard Chartered Bank and other donors in Singapore and New York.

Terms of AwardThe scholarship will provide a stipend up to US$15,000 to defray tuition fees only for graduate studies at a US law school. The award excludes general expenses.
Eligibility
The scholarship to be awarded in 2013 is open to NUS LLB graduates from the classes of 2007 to 2012 who will pursue an LLM degree at an accredited law school in the United States.

Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend interviews by the
Selection Committee. Tentatively, interviews will be held in end May or early
June 2013.
The Organization does not base its selection in any way on the employment status of the applicant or any relative of the applicant. Relatives of members of the selection committee are not possible recipients. There will be no restrictions or limitations in the selection procedures based upon race or the employment status of the prospective recipient or any relative of the prospective recipient.
