Asia’s Global Law School
About Our Alumni
As one of the most selective faculties in the University, NUS Law students enjoy many opportunities to interact with fellow students and faculty members during their years in law school. Alumni typically remember their law school days with fondness and pride. Many activities still organised today were started by enthusiastic law students over the years, later becoming law school traditions: from Law Camp to Law Ball, the Law IV Musical, the Singapore Law Review, and of course our many student-run national and international competitions.

Class of 1961
Our alumni occupy the ranks of government, private
practice, diplomacy, business, the arts and media
communities, as well as almost every other niche of
professional life in Singapore. Many of our alumni
have also achieved prominence overseas. Given

members of the Malaysian legal fraternity are
graduates of our law school.

Alumni relations were brought to the forefront with
the launch of LawLink, the Faculty's alumni outreach
magazine. Class reunions are a regular feature of
the law school calendar. In addition, the Alumni
Seminar Series brings illustrious alumni back to the
campus to speak to our students on their work and
interests. Our alumni have provided sterling support
for the law school over the years in the forms of
endowment gifts, sponsorship of student activities
and participation in conferences and seminars. As
the faculty positions itself in the competitive
global economy, alumni gifts have become a critical
force which enables us to bolster our resources and
fulfil our aspirations as a world-class law school.
